“I am in love with this place. I have Singer Industrial machine at home but it is not good enough. Sew FYI has single, serger, coverstitch, zigzag, and blind stitch machines, which helped me finish my dress perfectly. You just need to bring your fabrics (but don’t have to carry an entire sewing toolbox). They have everything you need to do your piece and you can use them for free. Employees are super friendly and easy going. I also like the fact there’s a simple price structure with no hidden costs. I am going back next week!”

“Love this place! A hidden gem in the downtown LA arts district. Wish I had found Sew FYI sooner. They are open 24/7 which works with my busy schedule, it allows me to go whenever I want. If you are the designer or like to make custom clothing, this place has every machine you could ask for. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I love the tunes they play, time flies when I am there. If you like making things, are a designer developing their line, or someone who wants to learn how to sew, I highly suggest checking out Sew FYI. You will not be disappointed.”

“What a great place to do any sewing projects! I love cutting fabrics on the draping table in the studio instead of on my living room floor. Since Sew FYI provides all sewing toolings, I learned to use new and better tooling to make my sewing a lot easier. Now I’m able to make my garments look professionally done after a few personal workshops. I also signed up for the monthly membership too since I really enjoy sewing there. Two thumbs up!”
